Biography:
Research Focus
Feed efficiency and product quality are important areas for livestock producers and animal product consumers. My research is focused on understanding the biological mechanisms that regulate feed efficiency, adipose tissue metabolism and their impact on beef, sheep and dairy production. To evaluate that I integrate my research in the areas of gut physiology, endocrinology and cell biology (muscle, adipose tissue, mammary gland, hypothalamus and liver).
